Choosing a new chiro can be tough. It can be one of the most important health care decisions you ever make. What will happen on my first chiropractic visit?
Your chiropractor Dr. Jason Geres will do the following: Firstly he will listen to you to get an idea if we can help you. If it sounds like chiropractic can help, Then he will do a complete assessment and history on why you’re consulting with Chiropractic Works. We will do any and all necessary tests including x-rays at our Charlestown office. We will then set up a second visit to review your findings. We do this to allow your Dr of chiropractic time to really think about your case and make sure it is safe to work with you.
How much does the first chiropractic visit cost?
The first chiropractic visit special offer if still going is $95.00 (normally $180.00) and this will include your examination, history and first adjustment.
How much do ongoing regular chiropractic visits cost?
Ongoing chiropractic fees range from $70 to $85, but we also have packages of care that you can purchase that save you up to 25%. Your Doctor will provide you a detailed quote before you start care.
Do I need to keep coming forever?
Once people learn they value of ongoing chiropractic care, they choose to continue care after their initial symptoms are gone, but ultimately you decide if you would like to stop care.
Where is Chiropractic Works Charlestown located?
We are located at 1 316 Chapman Street Charlestown. We are south of the roundabout and our entrance is near the exit for the carpark. Look for the big beautiful gum tree and you’ll see our front door.
Is there parking at Chiropractic Works?
Your best options for parking are either hilltop plaza or Charlestown square parking. Parking here is free for the duration of time you will be at our centre.
Do I need a GP Referral?
Although more and more gps are referring to chiropractors, we do not need a referral. We are happy to work with your local gp to help you get a better result.
Do you accept DVA
Yes we do.
Do you accept third party or workers compensation injuries?
We do but you must pay for any of your visits and claim them yourself from the insurer.

Meet Dr Jason Geres
Dr Jason Geres received his 5 year Chiropractic degree from CMCC in Toronto Canada in 1996 (with a 3 year science degree before that). He came to Australia in 1998 with his degree, a backpack and a sense of adventure and has been here ever since. He has been practising in the Charlestown Lake Macquarie Newcastle area for the past 20 years, and has helped well over 12000 people here get answers to health questions that have changed their lives.
He is passionate about being healthy without drugs or surgery and teaches this lifestyle to the patients he serves. His sense of adventure and lust for life takes him sailing, enduro riding, flyfishing, kayaking and just about anything involving the outdoors. He lives with his family in warners bay and loves spending time with them, preferably outdoors.
His intention is to live to 100 and be Mobile, Independent, Functional, and Appreciated. He wants to show as many people as he can how this can be done.
